The doctors at the Carlingford Epping Surgery have a variety of special interests. We pride ourselves on providing excellent medical care to our patients. Below is a list of doctors and staff currently practicing at our Carlingford and Epping sites.

Practitioners:

Dr. Michael Serafim

This Carlingford Epping Surgery is the first practice I have worked in since leaving University. I have always enjoyed the challenge of taking care of my patients and the responsibility that involves.

I have interests in all human ailments but particularly paediatrics, geriatrics, lung conditions, wounds, skin pathology, women’s health, mens health, and mental health issues.

Dr. Colin Gunter

I have worked in the area for over 30 years and enjoy the diversity & challenges that General Practice brings. My particular interests are medical education and teaching students and registrars also Paediatrics and antenatal shared care with Ryde and Hornsby Hospitals. Outside of medicine I enjoy family life, music and classic cars.

Dr. Sue Beutum

I completed GP training in 1985, then received the AMAC prise for academic excellence in Acupuncture in 1997. Enjoying every aspect of Western General Practice, I use acupuncture as an adjunct for many conditions including musculoskieletal problems.

Dr. Michael Moor

I have been with this practice for over 30 years. I have an interest in aged care and orthopaedics. When not working I enjoy my garden and travelling. I have recently discovered the enjoyment of cruising.

Dr. David Boyce

I identify as a middle-aged, male General Practitioner.I have spent some time as a Rehab Registrar in the nineties and maintain a sneaking regard for rehab as a results of this I have been fascinated with World War 11 fighter aircraft since the age of 9, I enjoy playing with computers and synthesisers at home and own a psychotic kitten called Scout.

Dr. Barbara Zochowski

I have been with the practice for over 15 years. My special interests are in Paediatrics, Geriatric Medicine and Womens Health. Outside of work I love travelling and cooking for family and friends.

Dr. Ann Walz

I will be on maternity leave from 03.08.2019 for approx. 6 months.

I am a recent Fellow of the RACGP and a graduate of the University of Sydney. Prior to working at the Practice I have worked at various practices, including the Blue Mountains, Eastern Suburbs and Western Sydney. I am interested in paediatrics and women health. I also enjoy walking and playing lots of netball.

Nurses:

Michelle Pittard

I graduated with a nursing Degree from UWS-McCarthur. I have been working as a nurse for 21 years in various locations and fields – including paediatrics, medical and surgical areas and have developed an array of clinical skills. I have been working at this practice for the past 8 years. I enjoy interacting with all who attend our Practice and aim to provide quality care with a friendly smile.

Lin Jiang

I am a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse. Born in China and now a proud Sydney-sider I have worked in GP practices since 2017 and have gained invaluable experiences. I love to provide tailored treatment plans to patients to deliver the best clinical outcomes.

I am a Clinical Psychologist (with over 11 years of experience). I can treat a wide range of problems using evidence based practice therapies. My own interest lies in the effects of early life attachment with care-givers and early life experiences on subsequent psychological functioning and mental health.
